Transferable Turf Residue

Transferrable Turf Residue

Conducting exposure assessments for people reentering turf that has been treated with a pesticide requires an assessment of the amount of residue that can be transferred from the grass to the person.

SEAGR uses The Modified California Roller technique consists of pushing a 32-pound roller back and forth over a 6 square foot area of percale cloth that is securely fastened to the ground on top of the turf.
